Amanda Wants to Play

a child within

is wanting to play

she will do what she can

to get our attention

she is a wise little soul

from the inner dimension

curious and keen

her colour is green

green heart chakra colour

green clothes from another

clothes that were gifted or bought

they were re-purposed and caught

in the web of sharing

from a place of caring

and from where

the magic

begins

my email is full of gems
solutions shared
perspectives compared
creativity and humour
unrestricted love
all having the qualities of
the new arriving

And as Parents We Are

once we became
and as parents we are
carrying the torch
of generations before

positioned to love
and to grow the love too
into our children
and into the new

the challenge is to let go
of the past and what’s done
for we must focus on the present
and what we want to become

the gifts of our parents
and those of before
we cherish and nurture
as we seed even more

fertile times
here for the planting
for our children, grandchildren
our awareness is demanding

our responsiveness to
the opportunities gifted
here to serve them
and why we enlisted
to be parents
of parents

and as parents we are
