Mother Earth

Mother Earth

today we pledge our lives to you

for the future of all life

we have lived because of you

and now suffer from our neglect

paramount to our future world

is acknowledgement of our faults

we cannot ignore our past behaviours

now we have emptied out your vaults

capricious now, we the many get it

the ways and means exist

we will work together with love and joy

and start checking off our list

no more fossil fuels

no more sourcing from afar

no more pollution of air, water and land

no more waste

a sharing of our abundance

a caring for our health

equal access to education

a new appreciation of our wealth

our wealth is in our abilities

we each have gifts to share

let us emerge and create a tidal surge

showing our Mother how we care

Courage

having waded out into the cold waters
just above the knees
i stalled and wondered
could i summon the courage
and take the plunge?

a numbness was settling in
hands were dipped in to the cold
a knowingness was emerging

i came here to do it
and i dove in

Poseidon Expressed

the very presence
of Poseidon right now
is allowing a trajectory
into the fall

the seasons we know
plus the seasons of the heart
are simplifications
of which we are a part

Poseidon is here
to release all the past
for by the cleansing thru water
our future will be cast

the summer soon over
and the winter in the south
were we to flip the seasons
what would that be all about?

and Poseidon is excited
his mermaid now in person
an expression of their love
will ignite this conversion
