crowding the gates
opening up
as the new orchestrates
a time of awareness
awakening from within
a stirring, a recognition
a new place to begin
the young and the old
age matters not
each a beginner
as renewal is sought

movement and flow
a twist and a bend
energetic compression
and messages to send
response to the inward
expressing it out
a dance of the skeleton
wanting to shout
serpentine fluidity
with pelvic tracings
and passionate emphasis
when the heart is racing
stretching, dancing
a run then a leap
movement descriptive
as emotions run deep

was where we began
the rigorous unmasking
has transformed this land
no longer disguised
as one on our own
we have dropped our disguises
and together have flown
