Star Burst
there’s a star burst of energy
as we enter our day
igniting our awareness
to all that’s present this day
the birds are all singing
the sun lights the sky
the stars disappear
and the moon will bye and bye
breathe in this energy
and expand it some more
carry this light
and shine from your core

Inner Wall
the inner wall can’t be climbed
it was built there for protection
now fear has gone
it doesn’t belong
time for a quick dismantle

A Good Sleep

A Good Sleep
a beautiful ping sound pierces my sleep
a few minutes later there is a repeat
a struggle to wake up and a wondering now
what is this message in the middle of the night?
two hours later i have found my phone and have read
then couldn’t believe what the message had said
have a good sleep, if only they knew
that is exactly what i was hoping to do
too tired to plug in or turn off my phone
a lesson was learnt and expressed with a moan
now i’m up writing well before what’s the norm
might as well choose to welcome this morn
