each holds a glass to refill
the one heart that has united us
has transformed the water and our will

A New Language
we’re speaking a new language
the voice of the heart
for those who feel/see it
it ignites like a spark
many have been tinder-dry
from a drought caused by fear
the loneliness, isolation
has been like being lost in a mirror
the sound/energy of this communication
is something quite new
it is spreading like wild-fire
from the sparks of a few
yes we’re being torched
set ablaze by this love
as we burst into laughter
we understand what we’re made of
the old has been set ablaze
the new now awaits
carrying the creative force that comes from fun

it is a time of returning
returning to the pack
a time of reconvening
discussing where we’re at
drawn to the one heart
that beats a common tune
we can all feel the pulse
as we emerge from each cocoon
ready to emerge
transformed like butterflies
a beauty from spending time inside
consulting self and the guides of our lives
with gratitude and eagerness
we connect from points of light
bringing all our aptitudes
to share with love and might
