The Middle East

the middle east is an area of concern
how much longer can such hate burn?
the division of the peoples, the raging of fear
how can the feeling of peace ever get near?

into the empty streets and the bombed out buildings
into the hearts of those touched by the killings
into the neighbourhoods, into the fields
let it be love that enables and the heart that yields

yields and forgives for hatred builds more
love can replenish and heal the before
understanding that all are part of the disease
loving ourselves will help the pain ease

loving our neighbours and forgiving them too
gives a fresh start, it is all we can do
peace is the result, the result of our love
pray for it, live it, it’s what we’re made of

Focus on the Universal Self

prepare for the change be it ever so strange
your evolution is speeding up now
your purpose assured, has it ever occurred
that your beingness is not the same

by starting your day with some great interplay
you go consciously into a day that unfolds
partial to those whose hearts are exposed
the emotional core of the means

the means to evolve, means to dissolve
all that has prevented true harmony
love who you are, then raise the bar
and accept the change you can be

your universal self, your whole potential wealth
is there to be asked in to your life
yearn for your becoming, your wholeness is summoning
summoning you into the realms of belonged

Appeal to the North

friends of the north, we request your assistance
the ways of the arctic have no resistance
to the climate changes happening and further exploitation
your input is critical to the future of this nation

who can you chose to represent your hamlets?
you inhabit the vastness of the north of this planet
only you know the ways to preserve and honour this land
you wisdom, ancient wisdom needs to lead what is planned

the Green Party requests your full participation
your presence will reflect what is to become our new nation
from west to east, from north to south
full representation, collaboration, is what this is about

Nunavut, the Yukon and North West Territories
represent almost 40% of the area of of our nation
compared to a total of 35 million people coast to coast to coast
you represent such a significant .003% of the population

you understand the ways of the north
you feel the changes and can bring wisdom forth
your guidance is essential to how we support
the peoples, the wildlife, the ways of the north

we honour your history and value your ways
of governance and sharing, our awareness you can raise
we want to understand solutions you put forth
come join in our circle to represent the north
