The Spiral
the. spiral represents movement
the infinite line
the continuous curve
the flexible spine
for any question we ask
the answer will exist
we will be taken back
to a turn or a twist
and soon we discover
there is no sense of time
for all exists somewhere
on this infinite line

We are Complete

We are Complete
be they mountains or hilltops
they are there to define
the distant horizon
to which we align
the height doesn’t matter
it is the incline
for what we are seeking
how far will we climb?
when the peak is once reached
we see far and wide
and finally understand
there is something we hide
the journey back down
and going deep inside
is the ultimate journey
to find what we hide
to discover our wholeness
that we are complete
to that nameless presence
we will finally meet

Laughing

Laughing
laugh at thyself
there is humour in this
a quiet is disturbed
by the imaginative self
such a story teller
making the script grow and grow
it takes a firm hand
to simply say NO
or is there a benefit in pretending
we know the happy ending?
set the stage
for in this life we know
we create as we flow
and the choices are ours
paint the picture
and jump in
the setting is familiar
