Edge Worn
a tire, a spade
a saw with its blade
a cliff, a snow drift
the knives we cut with
even our teeth
the shoes that we wear
edges are vulnerable
to a chip or a tear
as we observe
or replace or repair
there is a constant in life
there is change out there
