Pasturing
perhaps the old world
will be simply put out to pasture
nurtured and cared for
in a totally new way
there to remind us
of how we once travelled
no longer able to go there
but the learnings will stay
treasured companions
teachers of life’s lessons
now grateful of our honouring
that they may rest now at bay
