A Candle is Lit
this candle is lit
and beside it we sit
bathed in its glow
in gratitude we know
our insight
the light draws us within
to the elemental being
not feeling or seeing
free in the quiet
of inner space
and not to erase
the outer isness
our business of life
but to empty out
allowing the freedom
to begin again
