Border to Freedom

a restlessness, a yearning
an uneasiness equates
into a question
what is it that awaits?
 
are our lifetimes pre-determined
yet there are choice-points along the way?
like a child’s book where you choose options
and with the story inter-play
 
what blocks us from exploring
those new opportunities to grow?
this life-time is a treasure chest
for what we seek and want to know
 
what are the beliefs and the patterns
that control what we decide?
it is so very important
we know what it is on which we have relied

The Bedrooms of Life
so important to note
what our bedrooms are like
they represent the peace
where we retreat to at night
perhaps there’s an altar
or a picture to explore
maybe even a statue
that stands on the floor
what represents the sacred
and the joys of one’s life
can all be represented
for they represent the spice
the spice of our dreamtime
and our meditative space
a place of inspirational beauty
where we let go of haste
