My Life as a Garden

My Life as a Garden
my garden is the perfect metaphor
for the life i am living
full of potential
a new garden for me but one that was neglected
clearing out the old
discovering hidden beauty
planting the new
observing what grew and thrived in the past
removing what did not survive the winter season
section by section bringing to completion
like a fresh canvas to paint on
so many colours and textures
reshaping and balancing as the garden takes form
St Francis watching over the life in the garden
the birds, the bunnies, the frogs and the bees
the rain and the love nourish the garden
and there is always a freshness in the movement
movement of the sweet ocean breeze
my garden is a blessing
and this blessing wants to be shared with you please

Apprehension

Apprehension
apprehension is time in suspension
allowing a fear to kick us out of gear
out of the flow
to negative possibilities we go
by being aware
we simply don’t go there
we understand now
and are being shown how
our greatest frustration is bringing things to completion
time no longer allows us to do it all on our own
accept when help is offered
ask friends, family to assist
ask and thru prayer, invite in the unseen
they are watching over us and know where we’ve been
simplify and let go of what now is obsolete
prioritize daily what you want to complete
apprehension will fade as achievements unfold
have fun moving forward for you are the bold

Inside of Time

Inside of Time
equations
persuasions
what is time anyway?
so many definitions
constant or still
try living
out of time
break all old patterns
sleep when you want
focus on the present
visit a favourite haunt
feel the persuasion
of doing what you love
master the art of knowing the self
and all you dream of
perhaps the concept of time
is nothing at all
could we dream the entirety
like a program installed?
or is it reliving opportunities
from lifetimes recalled?
