as the opposition rises and mounts
your love is your shield
always present and divine
carry it now into battle
its protection is yours and mine
we are there to stand behind you
proudly carrying our colours too
this is one of many battles
and our faith is here with you
go now and prepare to lead
it is time to make a plan
strategy is important today
you are facing a determined man
peace is a result of love
surely peace is the goal of all
your shield of love with its dove
will protect yet embrace
