surveying the landscape

the beauty , the peace
without looking within
it will never be reached

synchronicities abound
guiding, encouraging
once lost, now found
recognizing a purpose
to the journey we take
lightening the load
of unwanted freight
creating efficiency
by combining our tasks
changing the timeline
removing the masks
connecting with others
who share in the passion
sharing abundance
with no need to ration
allowing the flow
with no resistance
blocking distractions
enabling persistence
starting our days
before the dawn
gently nudging
awakening the spawn
feeling loved and cared for
surrendering to be
a catalyst or igniter
to the change that we see

A Vision of Suffering
a vision of suffering
woke me this morn
an artificial face
from the one that was born
someone well known
a teacher of sorts
had altered their face
false beauty contorts
no longer compassion
or love can be seen
life’s journey erased
its expression unseen
as if now a mask
that covers the soul
a purposeful change
what was their goal?
seeking perfection
in a vehicle still new?
the importance of how
others see them as true?
perhaps of importance
is how we see ourselves
without total acceptance
into suffering one delves
beware of this pathway
for it leads one astray
and can constantly cause one
to fix what’s not “okay”
