Opportunity
an opportunity sometimes arises
in what feels like once in a million years
to ignore it would be a sacrifice
where we would instead manifest our fears
leadership is earned and admired
when it is delivered from the heart
such leaders are rare and distinguished
by their ability to stop and restart
to stop and examine the present
to see and hear who we are
to understand the suffering
to seek solutions then lead as a star
a star that shines the light of compassion
and the ability to light in us
the hope and trust in deliverance
with a restart that we see as a must
