the mirror within
meet that infinite expression
of love and of joy
there is no place for depression
just a space to employ
to employ your ability to grow
to grow into that expression

precious memories preserved
a reliving of beauty
the beauty of love
and the wonder of life
we live and we learn
and we continue to yearn
for those moments of reckoning
so we relive the past
these gems of the past
are the very ones we cast
into the future
to attract in the new

Scotchgarded
beware of the fluorocarbons
the teflons, the scotchgards
manufactured protectors
of what may we ask?
what do we risk?
to what do we surrender
when seeking the easy
and the speed to suspend?
suspending the need
to be careful and tidy
to walk with awareness
and avoid life’s spills
are we scotchgarding our lives
eliminating our comprehension
of the very intricate weavings
of how we choose to live?
