Sisterhood

Sisterhood
by birth or association
comes the heart-felt realization
you are my sister
i love you
my confidant, my protector
my wise interjector
ready to share what you see
when it is hidden to me
it is you that i go to
it is you that i trust
it is you that i honour
i want to share this, i must
however we arrived here
it seems it was always meant to be
please know i am here for you too
as  that sister you’ve been to me

Spontaneity
to follow our hearts
and all their upstarts
we release what was stored
the befored
freedom to flow
to wherever we may go
surrendering to the ease
of not navigating
a spontaneous response
to what will ensconce
the beauty, potential of the new

Womanhood

Womanhood
a desire to hold and to cherish
to love and be with others’ lives
to be there and share of our knowledge
to both birth and nurture new life
to care for and celebrate our own bodies
our vehicles that carry us on
into lives of caring for others
and to be the strength to receive from beyond
the beauty and love that surrounds us
can be enhanced by awareness and desire
to expand on and share new creation
we are all growing our oneness empire
