I Swear
sometimes i swear
caught by the unexpected
usually out loud
then withdrawn
often followed by an apology
an apology to self
perhaps still maturing
to where there is total acceptance
being the observer
from the stillness within
from that place we swear to upholding
that promise to our soul purpose
so often feeling that allegiance
to the presence within

we can spin like a top
bounce like a ball
flow like a river
stand still on one foot
and we balance
rebalance
with no need to look
it is an inner knowing
from the still point within
we are steady
held steady
balanced
