sisters, best friends
a relationship that sends
out a loving radiance
advice, encouragement
laughter and play
the deepest of sharing
in an understanding way
born of our parents
born from their love
we are growing their legacy
what we’ve all dreamed of
love, joy, peace and gratitude

woken up to write again
picked up my phone

how often this happens
or 222, 333
like signals embedded
saying you’re on track
like punctuation marks
stating some fact
of importance

what we know
is being erased
the stories we lived
were often written in haste
the propaganda, the suppositions
will be replaced by the inquisitions
into reality
inquisitive to know what can become
replacing beliefs with what is the sum
of all we’ve experienced of love and beauty
creating the new now our sacred duty
the new humanity
as One
