an appetite for stillness
to sit under a tree
a draw to climb a nearby hill
just to feel the breeze
to feel the sense of distance
by walking by the sea
to lose oneself in a garden
amongst the flowers and the bees
to play with patterns everywhere
find joy in the of turning of a stone
in the company of nature
we blend and are never alone

Awoken
there is a vibration
a resonance of sorts
when frequencies align
and we become cohorts
an instant recognition
no words need be spoken
we are finding each other
our group purpose awoken

a happy coincidence
a serendipitous event
no explanation
it can feel like heaven sent
happy to acknowledge
the circumstances that led
to this extraordinary happening
and to all it has fed
