The Road is The Garden
walking in awareness
brings all into view
the beauty, the variance
what to plant or undo
the cycles of seasons
what thrives and the reasons
the observer can feed
with love, light and then water
may we walk the road and know
what has been seeded or we sow
is The Garden and
there will always, always
be something new we see grow

When Prayers are Answered
when our prayers are answered
we give thanks to our Lord
with a welling of gratitude
for hearing the wants we have stored
when our wants go beyond
what we want for ourselves
there is a direct connection
that in our bodies is felt
we have done our work
and are readied to be
as active participants
with new responsibility
we have been heard
and our commitment has stirred
a becoming to be
as new reality

Water the Messenger
water the messenger
it flows thru our veins
and is bringing in the collective
every time it rains
the frequency of storm surges
tidal extremes and erosion
the melting of glaciers
is unlocking our emotions
water the messenger
is demanding our attention
it is also our playground
which we must not forget to mention
let us honour the water
drink, splash, swim and play
let us be the messengers
thanking water this day!
