Gently Disarmed

Gently Disarmed

gently, lightly
in a soft and tender manner
we now dismantle the remainder
of our tools of conflict and harm

even those layers of protection
especially to our hearts that are so precious
we peel away the layers allowing
our receiving of the New

the dominance of love
in every communication
in every thought we think
in every act or demonstration

love is our power
our power to overcome
to right the wrong and the suffering
thru our efforts all will be done

let us be love

The Prayer

our prayer is for humanity
that all may now wake up
acknowledge our past insanity
and start to make it up

the beauty of nature
is the beauty of who we be
we are responsible for neglecting this
we must all wake up and see

see the potential
a re-creation that is new
working together
as a dedicated crew

we pray to let go of
all practices now obsolete
simplify, build new structures, systems
that a new way of life we may greet

simplicity thrives
as the New arrives
simplicity is designed
we are all now co-signed
to bring this into ourselves
when ego still dwells within

being part of the We
we can still be singularly free
to use pronouns my, mine and i
but not capital I
for to do so negates the aspects of We

let us be We
the sum of everyone
where ego’s power is undone
we are free to have fun
as One
