Comfort Inn
there is always room
a place we can rest
we just need to call
and give our request
a place to slow down
to quiet the mind
to know we’re looked after
for this commitment cosigned
it is okay to rest
to step out of the traffic
to sleep and renew
so the next day is fantastic
the adventure will call
and find us again

let go of that belief
that we are just lazy
and replace it with a new belief
we are pausing to allow
let go of all that thinking
dive into nature
rest and address
our need for silence and stillness
then allow these times
to explore the inner world
meditation and prayer
will help us to become aware
and creative in our new beginnings

the gateways are open
once we come knocking
explore the silence
the welcoming grace
feel the slowing
of our perpetual haste
