a warning or a threat
that we are running out of time
and that we will no longer get
an opportunity or a continuation of service
why is this done
and what is the purpose?
perhaps a simple alert
but it follows the tract
of triggering our fear
and the emotional impact
is important to be aware of
if we don’t pause to reflect
on what we are feeling
we can make impulsive decisions
that have a way of revealing
vulnerability to temptations
that make us feel better
