Jelly Beans
a bowl is passed
full of colourful jelly beans
take a moment to consider
what is held in this bowl
can we resist
the temptation to take one
with it’s sugary coat
hiding what is within?
play with this concept
maybe honour the child
the child of past times
then ask does this bowl
hold what we are seeking
and give it a pass if it doesn’t align

Our Mirror
who is our mirror?
who can see what we can’t?
possibilities emerge
when we’re in the same camp
asking for reflection
we are heard on all levels
boulders can block us
as can accumulated pebbles
what can another see
that is valuable to know?
how can their perspective
change the direction we go?
who is your mirror?
who can you ask?
who are you close to
that can help with this task?

Command Station
are we in charge
or have we surrendered?
have we abandoned the thoughts
of all we’ve engendered?
with a freedom to be
and to move by simply living
allowing the flow
to dictate how we are giving
giving, contributing
to the beauty of humanity
dialling in to the station
that guides all relations
thru the frequency of love
