there is an instant division
when we are called to step forth
into a role of leadership
to steer a new course
not divided from the unity
of common purpose, intent
but a stepping up to utilize
our skills that are meant
to facilitate change

we recognize the junctions
by what is done and said
measurements don’t count now
distance has dissolved
the presence of each other
anchored as we evolve
once there is a oneness
achieved by blending hearts
infinite opportunities
