White Cosmos
there was a rose bush planted
by the entry near the road
the tag on it named it Love
and this was to be its code
all summer it bloomed
and into the fall
red and scented blossoms
to be shared with all
surrounding the roses
was a circle of white
representing the cosmos
and yes you are right
named white cosmos
it reminds us of how to live
growing and sharing our love
is the greatest gift we give
