The Turmoil Within
the turmoil within
it feels like a knot
so loosen, release
before we are caught
simply release
don’t question and stew
for what we are holding
has nothing to do
empty it out
breathe a line to release
let the light flow
’til the turmoil doth cease
quiet the mind
smile with the heart
fill up with the love
you are going to impart
no more remembrance
of anger or pain
replaced with a blossoming
of all we can gain
see with new eyes
the beauty within
expand to include
and together begin
