Cutting the Cords

awareness of our old ways
how we automatically spend our days
gives merit to knowing
what the new is bestowing

what no longer makes sense
what has been acting as a fence
blocking our flow
time to let it go

metaphorically use
a blade of flint or obsidian
cut away the old cords
that held us in oblivion

that unconscious state
is now out of date
bring the gems from the past
into the new they’ll be cast

foundational for the future
built on with love
according to the new ways
that we’re a part of

Outside the Inner

outside the inner core
is where we go to live and explore
growing, experiencing the great beyond
completely surrendering to the flow
carrying our magic wand

seeing the opportunities
touching with the energy of love
transforming all suffering
with our intentions of
beholding our oneness
as we learn to live as love

bringing the love we hold within
to the outside where we begin
to transform old patterns and ways
into the total beauty of
love

A Child is Born

a child is born as the essence of love
they are the cellular composite of all they’re made of
dependant yet strong with a voice of their own
they are the gifts from the seeds we have sown

that singular purpose to love and be loved
occupies their presence until the day of
a growing awareness there is more to explore
and they then constantly seek to try every door

each journey is different and each child unique
there is still a similarity to that which they seek
the answers will come as they learn to discover
it is their inner world that holds the answers
answers there to uncover as a life-long lover
of  the adventure of being and living free
sharing their discoveries on how to be
how to be the we
in Oneness
