an opportunity offered
by sharing from the past
emotions, memories
from the outcast
no one can know
or possibly judge
another’s journey or perspective
but they can be given a nudge
sharing from the heart
the questions, the pain
offering love as
a simple opportunity to gain
to gain a new perspective
an ounce of understanding
our world thrives with collaboration
it is when our love is expanding

observe transient thoughts
let them flow thru
witnessed not embellished
as we sometimes tend to do
the observer is breathing
and living exposed
interconnected to all
and the love that that grows

A Love Story

achieved what he came to be
a lover of life, friends and family
with a respect for their diversity
embracing team sports and a life of service
cherishing time with family and friends
he lived his life in fullness
right until the very end
and now his presence is with us
we feel it in every day
to guide and comfort and be with us
we keep him alive in another way
