Love Is All There Is
standing back
and stepping down
the spin of time
goes round and round
observing thus
how we’ve been thrust
into the nothingness
together
anchorless, free to float
no need of land
no need of boat
our wings of love
are dreaming of
that place of peace and plenty

to hold its quality
or a condition of
add it to hospital
hospitality
kindness, warmth
friendliness, looking after
how do we perceive hospitals?
how can we enhance
a patient’s experience?
how can we support the work
of such dedicated caregivers?
what changes can we make?
may it have a quality
or condition of
love

the past now unheeded
perhaps a hint that is left
the movement of life
responds to every request
when asked by the heart
for the greatest good of all
believe
it is real
