Rain
the sound of rain
a welcome reprieve
the plants, the grass
for the green they all ask
the trees have been thirsty
the willows have wept
the heavens have opened
to make everything wet

Spellbound
fascinated by the turn of events
what was the influence?
what has it meant?
beyond our imaginings
no words to describe it
we are given an opportunity
and we must decide if
decide’s not the word
for the decision was made
there is a new pathway
we’re to step out of the shade

Misplaced
where did we put it?
where can we find it?
what are we looking for?
is it within?
a safe place
a harbour
where we return to
we know it as home
an infinite space
full of infinite grace
once found and acknowledged
will never again be misplaced
