The Flickering Flame
The Flickering Flame
The flickering flame
strengthened again
It is fuelled by the melting ego
The light it emits
not only permits
but encourages us to see further
Our vision is clear
seeing far and what’s near
Behind us still stretch the shadows
Know each flame can ignite
others with its light
illuminating more to discover –
what we then learn
every way that we turn
is our lights become one solid glow
The shadows then are gone
in the light of this dawn
and the ego that’s left is of Oneness
