wed to each other
massive in its immensity
light in its density
har groves of diversity
Odin, Shiva and Horus
trees of life and existence
shadowed only by night

selecting the very best of the past
and weaving it into our design
of the future becoming

refined his art to a quality
that would last and outlast
many generations
perhaps 600 instruments
violins in particular
are still coveted and played
others preserved, displayed
honouring the artist
and the sacredness
of sound
how can an instrument
made over 3000 years ago
still share its beauty
to the human ear?
