before the splinter
there was a whole
perhaps splintering off
was a past goal
but if that splinter
was returned to the tree
would wholeness not return
to the tree as we?

could last out all day

allows guidance from the heart
thought follows the heart
with its heart-felt resonance
attuned to the frequencies
of all the surround
the heart observes and feels
all possibilities
and opens a path
that our thought process can explore
checking in, checking back
for the heart to guide more
