present each day as we begin
loved and supported
a child knows how to play in life
it is that aspect of fun
in the game of life, it is the spice
to make something enjoyable
is a gift children seem to understand
thru imagination and creativity
they know how to take command

we are in this together
a phrase now often heard
tuning in to what we are asked to do
responding to every word
our gifts are precious
our very presence is too
we own our future
by what we do
each a fraction of
the greater whole
here in service by
 the request of our soul

let us acknowledge and give thanks
to those thru the ages
who have dedicated themselves
to studying the stages
of how it all works
collaboration to define
the theory of everything
simple yet applicable
to answer all questions
it has become explicable
we are in a celebratory moment
a marker of time in no time
perpetual
when is something
 no longer a theory?
