In the Beginning

In the Beginning
in the beginning
it was so very simple
it was love
it always was
and then from love
so much beauty evolved
infinite creativity
an abundance, interweaving and flow
open communication
awareness
the oneness of life and expression
the orchestration of magnificence
then something changed
was it arranged?
and as the sun rose
there was a waking up
to divinity
it has all been transposed
and as the cycle goes
there is a returning
to the beginning

Best
it is best to rest
you’re exhausted now
the trouble is
you’ve forgotten how
illness can also
be such a gift
you become the observer
and simply drift
a message received
when concerned about watering the plants
“if you go outside don’t look for what needs to be done
look for and enjoy the beauty”
that is the best way to live, enhanced
not about doing
all about being
a part of the whole
and how we are seeing

Writing from Within

Writing from Within
when we sit down to type
or we pick up our pen
it doesn’t matter where
it doesn’t matter when
we learn to go inwards
and to write from within
in the midst of the stillness
or the chaos that’s near
a word will arrive
or a scenario will appear
awareness and acceptance
that this wants a voice
so it becomes a journey
and a very clear choice
to simply let go
and let it all flow
not knowing what is said
until later it is read
