The Turmoil Within

The Turmoil Within

the turmoil within
it feels like a knot
so loosen, release
before we are caught

simply release
don’t question and stew
for what we are holding
has nothing to do

empty it out
breathe a line to release
let the light flow
’til the turmoil doth cease

quiet the mind
smile with the heart
fill up with the love
you are going to impart

no more remembrance
of anger or pain
replaced with a blossoming
of all we can gain

see with new eyes
the beauty within
expand to include
and together begin

Christmas
what we can become
has already begun
 taking the time
responding to the divine
the answers to our prayers
are the same as theirs
a desire for peace, for calmness and grace
a resurgence of love with exponential expansion
connecting all on Earth
from aged to birthed
from heart to heart to heart to heart to heart
we have all made a start by loving a friend
by loving our families, our gardens, the stars
by embodying the wisdom, empowering the mar
signify yes
we are part of the change
the tree of life is living and we are all part of its range
expanding and growing, feeling the flow
from our common roots, common origin from which we did grow
fed
by love
warmed
with light
peace                on Earth
good tidings                 we bring
know we are the angels               it is time now to sing

Copy No One

Copy No One

the message again appeals for such strength
copy no one
be who we are
copy no one
be each a star

a star in our own play
a lifetime of learning
experiencing the scene changes
as we continue our journeying

sometimes the hero
sometimes the clown
sometimes the action verb
sometimes the noun

Plutarch once told us
“I don’t need a friend who changes
when I change and who nods when I nod
my shadow does that much better”

and in this lifetime of scenes
does a pattern emerge?
has an opportunity arrived
with a new storm surge?

call on the wisdom
ancestral or divine
we can change the script
and the message this time
