Heralding a New Dawn
out of the darkness
emerges a new dawn
the promise of newness
the past has now gone
the beginning of an era
of calm justice and peace
cooperation, consideration
we will now live with ease
the light shines from within
we can glow in the dark
a playfulness exists
the angels sing

the forerunners of peace
are cemented in the past
those who would not support
false leaders wearing masks
harbingers of peace
are bringing to the light
standing in their strength
and knowing what is right
right for all

flexabilty
the ability to be flexible
as we rally forth
in our choices
from now on
a time to be proactive
to know the truth within our hearts
to change direction in support of
the unity we feel
in our desire for peace, a loving presence
and a stability that’s real
