A Child’s World

A Child’s World
to wake up each morning
to the warmth of being loved
of feeling peace
to remember
the gems of yesterday
as the sleepiness is released
to feel the excitement
of seeing their loved ones
to begin a new day
as their wants and their plans
come into play
creating a playground
welcoming in others
friends, family, the invisible
all are real to a child
a child’s world is limitless
they are free to explore and become
let us protect their environment
with our own love, peace and fun
