The Crucible
we are in the crucible
the vessel of creation
the heat has extinguished
the ease of past relations
trial by fire
where are we at?
diplomacy evaporated
little intact
crises innumerable
environments stained
look now to the birthing
there is so much to be gained
creating the new
beyond lessons of the past
envisioning the future
the die is now cast
fragments of the possible
pieces of the late
objective manipulation
collaborative mates
sensing the potential
building the teams
instantaneous solutions
once oneness is reframed
the crucible is yielding
with clarity and speed
a melding of our differences
into a newness, the seed

creation defines, expresses, underlines the words we communicate daily
how can we choose words that best express our feelings?
listen to the ringing in your ears
watch for the tempo that appears
speak from the heart space, your alma mater
how can we best listen and understand what is replied?
cherish the oneness by design
allow, reflect, and then refine
question for clarity of fact and purpose
feel what is expressed that may be wordless
how do we know when it is best to speak up?
calculate the impact of your choices
listen to and respect those inner voices
silence too has the merit of giving space
when from the heart, you will speak always with grace
