Separation Anxiety
separation anxiety
from a world as we’ve known it
into a world where it is
much more like being it
can we simply let go
and merge with the flow
allowing the beauty of creation
to bring us into right real-ation
with the new that we grow?

A Relation Donation
an offering from one
kindred spirit to another
is for full transparency
so as to uncover
their present circumstances
the ability to go deeply within
to seek where they are
so that both may begin
to know where they stand
long friendships, old habits
new interests, old expectations
honouring the roots
giving the obsolete the boot
tearing out the old pages
might have to be done in stages
but the importance exists
for each soul has its lists
of questions, of feelings
unanswered
each desires the freedom to be
who they fully want to be
as a celebration of life

Capture a Contagion
capture a contagion
before spreading it about
witness its presence
turn it inside out
could this be something harmful?
a belief or practice that’s easy to spread?
does it amplify the life we want
or do we assign it a code red?
don’t let others’ perspectives
influence who we want to be
emergency measures may be needed
to snuff out what we don’t want to seed
