going into retreat
we retreat from ourselves
our daily activities, practices
where normally we dwell
we let go of to-does
we open to the new
we quiet our minds
what will we find?
a doorway to the beyond
where change is the passcode
an expansion of beingness
as our soul destiny unfolds

what can we grow
to nourish and share?
what medium can be turned
to aerate and loosen?
what weeds can be pulled
before planting begins?
as we dream of the harvest
we encourage each other
