let us monitor our thoughts
for its often or not
we will find ourselves
preoccupied
is it what we woke up with?
is it what we’ve left undone?
is it the chaos around us?
is it simply the sum?
precious is the child’s way
ne’er a worry, just play
yes to the focus
of having fun each day

A New Dawn
nothing is working
a total collapse
can we surrender to allowing
and let this time lapse?
what is it to wait
for a settling ground
to wait for alignment
to trust the inbound?
a magnificent shuffling came
before the cards we have drawn
and once they’re laid down
we will welcome a new dawn

Turn the Page
divinity
the sacredness of a life
the expression of love
the presence of spirit
if we can define it
why do we have so much trouble
accepting our own presence
in these beautiful
transformational times?
it is time to turn the page
turn the page
and write the new story
an adventure
a love story
and bring it to life
a life to be lived
to its fullest
