Lizards in the Hallway
from salamanders to geckos
up to crocodiles, alligators
who would we greet
if we were to meet
in the hallway of life
some feel so friendly
even in an assembly
others we treat
with caution and respect
never to neglect
their right to be here

so important to know
one plus one equals one
as in oneness we grow
reclusive of our bodies
of our journeys of the past
our soul presence is in totality
with our togetherness, en masse

in every ocean, every pond
the expanse of the newness
