Essence or Peril
we can live in the presence
of love and beauty
this can be how we choose to live
our innate nature
our sacred duty
let us leave behind
the perils of the past
the uncertainty
the problems
once cast
they cannot last
to influence the new
our claim to freedom

able to amplify what is inbound
carried as thought forms
carried as sound
receivers tuned in
to the frequencies broadcast
reception often attracted to
what has been asked
an individual’s perception
of what is received
is also influenced
by what is believed

its presence has won
