Freshness
the front door was left open
a good part of the day
it got a new coat
to freshen up and display
what a difference it made
to what we were breathing in
the fresh air flushed out
all that had been held within
a fire was lit
to hold the warmth of the home
and freshness of the cool air
was free to roam

The Awakened Series
so often it is hidden
the understanding of it all
and then all of a sudden
we listen and hear the call
the call to a newness
letting go of what we held
once precious and important
until the heart-ache was felt
so many patterns
and habits of the past
appearing now daily to recognize and to cast
to cast out of our beingness
giving space and a freeingness
a series of awakenings
spacious and new
attracting in
all we want to do
all we want to be
happy and free

Specialty Medicine
when we choose to specialize
to grow our skills with a passion
we take all our experience, the gems of before
and weave them into that mat at the door
a welcoming mat to a practice of medicine
formerly the practice of diagnosing, treating and preventing disease
now individualized to each person seen
it matters not wherever they’ve been
in their body, mind, emotional, spiritual or soul journeys
they are welcomed in
to carry our medicine
we must live it ourselves
into the reciprocity of oneness
the recipient then delves
bathing in
a healing and transformational aquarium
then basking in a love and light solarium
places of healing and transformation
