gives credence to its presence

argue, defend
old habits of communication
coming to an end
we will soon not have to speak it
others will know just where we stand
our presence and how we live it
will communicate what now is planned
to bring in the new
to replace the obsolete
to create with love and joy
to welcome others to share our seat
to acknowledge where there is suffering
and to know this we will defeat

it is best to rest
you’re exhausted now
the trouble is
you’ve forgotten how
illness can also
be such a gift
you become the observer
and simply drift
a message received
when concerned about watering the plants
“if you go outside don’t look for what needs to be done
look for and enjoy the beauty”
that is the best way to live, enhanced
not about doing
all about being
a part of the whole
and how we are seeing
