Truth or Pretend
so i am going to ask you my friend
because love cannot end
what is our reality?
living our truth or some pretend?
when one feels overwhelmed or nervous
what signals do these send
something has changed
it is hard to comprehend
when allowing another’s journey
we stand by with love and hope
we can offer a hand to lend
but it is not our place to mend
as we feel into our hearts
and knowing the old now must depart
now that we are free
who is it we choose to be?

mental can be madness
heart-felt is pure
as emotional beings
our intuition is the lure
an invitation into the unknown
simple guidance that has grown
into a knowingness that is solid
to trust our hearts is always valid
the heart is our compass
navigate this new way
practice and take note
