as Earthlings we are influenced
and often cocooned
in the harmonies of nature
by the cycles and energies
that abound in our field
all have influenced
what we have read and have written
the many songs we have sung
the instruments we’ve played
we are the authors, the choreographers
the musicians, the playwrights
inspired by the rhythms and movement
we experience every day
blessed to be the scribes
recording our journeys
sharing our joy
